Goals
Our goal is to change the way Home Owners view Contractors in New Orleans. We strive to be your only company you contact for all your construction and project needs. Together, let us help create your space to be your own.
Company
Just Tchoup was founded in August of 2017. The Company has grown tremendously over the years. We owe it to our customers! Our company has been based off of 94% Referrals by mouth or social media. Just Tchoup is New Orleans based. The former warehouse was just off Tchoupitoulas Street. Now we are in Mid-City. Mid-City is a great location and centrally located to get anywhere around New Orleans.
SHort Story on How It all Started
When I was just 4 years old. There was a house being built a few areas from our house. I would always sneak away and go check it out. One day I was playing on the 2X4's and additional lumber. I would pretend I was an iron worker building a Sky-scrapper. I couldn't fall off because I wouldn't survive (Cue Laughter). When Bam! I felt something go through my foot. I pulled my foot straight up and slowly walked back home. I won't get into the deep details but I stepped on a nail; went straight through. Luckily, my ma stopped the bleeding and I didn't have to go to the hospital (that I can remember). The next day, the builder heard about what happened. He brought me a get well present. When he handed it to me I believe he sealed my fate. My very first wood handled hammer (I still have it to this day).
Owner
Hi, my name is Bruce Branden. I am the sole owner of Just Tchoup Construction LLC. I work on everything from estimating & over-seeing the project to accounting & billing. It is a lot of hard work, but our customers are worth it. I have over 20 years of experience in construction and have been doing handyman duties since I was 8 years of age. I am from Chicago and now officially a transplant in New Orleans. I came down in 2012 as a foreman building many local schools with a very large construction company. I grew as a person and gained much knowledge over those years. I was promoted quickly to a superintendent. When I was informed that the company may be pulling out of New Orleans. I knew I didn't want to leave. I finally found where I am suppose to be. Then Just Tchoup was Born.
